Junior Golf
On Sunday 25th July there will be a junior golf tournament at Marton Golf Club. See the "tournaments" page for further information.
Tu Toa have taken out the 2010 Intercollegiate Title on a cold windy day at Marton Golf Club. It was their third straight victory in the event. Full results, links to photos and other info is available on the Manawatu-Wanganui Golf Association website.
On Sunday 7th February, 10 club members and junior members’ parents attended a level one coaching course, run by Manawatu/Wanganui development officer, Stephen Wood.
This was in preparation for the junior coaching program being run from Sunday 21st Feb. The sessions will start at 9.30am and run for approx 2 hours. . Please see junior coaching Program for the exact dates.
Some of the sessions will be attended by a golf professional from a local club, others will be run by the newly qualified level one coaches.
