Well forecasted inclement weather kept all but 30 players at home and part of the small field competed for the Rex Gibbs Memorial over 36 holes and Street cup (Hcp 25+) over 18. Plus 2 handicapper Lachie McDonald revelled in the excellent course conditions despite the weather, and created a new course record of 63. He followed this with a 72, so with 77 stableford points, won the Rex Gibbs and also had the best individual stableford score of the day with 43 points. Runner up over 36 holes was Ron Win with 74. Tony Mischewski with 39 points was successful in winning the Street Cup with Tim McVerry being the runner up.
