At Alert Level Two, playing golf can be undertaken. However, there are firm measures in place to ensure the health and safety of all in the golf sector and the community.
The most important principle is to play it safe and remain physically distant from others. The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff, members, green fee golfers, and the wider community is of paramount importance.
A sign-in system will still be in place to ensure contact tracing. The list of competitors on a Marton Golf Club Day will be enough to contact trace club members. All other visitors will have to sign in on the sheets provided. All Marton Golfers who play at any other time outside of the Marton Golf Club Days will also have to use the sign in sheets.
The clubhouse will be able to be used as usual:
*Each group that use it will have duty people assigned to clean the touch points and surfaces before leaving for the day. (NB. At this stage the Nine Holers are not using the clubhouse)
*Masks and gloves will be available for use.
*Social distancing will still be in place.
