Our Marton Ladies District Pennants team

Our Marton Ladies District Pennants team played in the final of this year’s competition held on the Levin Golf course on Monday 13 August.  After some very close matches, we came runner-up to Pahiatua.  For the last five years we have won the District Pennant Shield three times and been runner-up twice, so that is a great record for the club. Thank you to our selector Allie Bary for keeping us all going throughout a long season.  Thank you too, to our caddies who have given up their time to support us. We are one of the few clubs that have caddies now and they have been invaluable to the players. Team members were: Bron Bielby, Chris Skou, Rachel Williams, Erica Clark, Chris Ellery, Gill Burne
