Ladies Pennants Finish on Top

With a final round robin convincing win of 5.5 - 2.5 against Pahiatua at Feilding Golf Club, the Monday Pennants Girls were looking set for a Semi-Final spot.

Wins to Margie Simpson, Sue Marshall and Ros Morrision with an important 4ball win from Rachel and Bron saw the confidence back in the sails for MGC ahead of the finals.

But more good news was on the horizon as the Eketahuna Ladies trumped the table topping Rangatira Blue Squad by 5.5 - 2.5 which led to Marton finishing top of Division 1 afterall due to more match points! 

This diverts our girls from meeting the other formidable Rangatira Pink side in a Semi-Final, instead teeing it up against Manawatu Ladies on Monday, with the latter having home field advantage.
