The seasons Handicap Pennant Final came to close today with our lads going down to a quality Feilding side.

Traveling to the oppositions, Marton turned out in numbers as a large support crew rallied the players but unfortunately each of the singles escaped us with a sole point coming from the leading duo of Captain Stu & Graham winning the 4ball.

A tough order to lose a Final after a dominant season, however the team acknowledged their performance was not one to match their Feilding counterparts today.

Feilding and Marton share a great interclub bond with many rivalries extending off the course into great friendships.

Well done to Feilding Golf Club, we look forward to battling again. Thanks again for the great day and hospitality
