MGC Host Huntley Golf Day

The Marton Golf Club welcomed the return of the Huntley School Golf Day last Sunday with record numbers.

After 2 years absent due to Covid Regulations, the Parents and Friends of Huntley School group coordinated a marvelous day on course for all parents and children.

Alongside the parent / child golf competition we had an assortment of activities including a putting competiton, gumboot throwing,

paintball, bouncy castle and bubbleball which all proved extremely popualr from the kids and parents alike!

The main occasion was the Live Auction held afterward with 35 magnificiently donated items, trips, activities and destinations going under the hammer. The record numbers were responsible for the record setting auction total with figures estimating to tally over $49,000...

The Marton Golf Club has strong ties with Huntley School and we appreciate the opportunity to host such a fantastic event and are eagerly looking forward to next year.
