MGC Irrigation Project

The Marton Golf Club would like to proudly acknowledge and give thanks to Pub Charity Limited for their funding and support toward this project.

We have undertaken an extension to our irrigation network at MGC, adding further sprinkler systems along all 14 Par 4 / Par 5 holes.

This new network will extend numerous fairways so that whilst aesthetically pleasing, they will be more attainable for beginners, juniors and our older members.

Albeit ironic this work has been carried out during one of our wettest winters, once summer comes around with its dry weather we will see the gains of this huge improvement and the enhancement it will bring to all our members, visitors and the wider golfing community.

We must also thank our Landlord, The Turakina Hapu Charitable Trust Inc. for permitting this project to go ahead on their land.
