MGC Zones Round 2

Saturday 8th we had our Zones team take the short trip round the corner to the Rangitikei Golf Club for the second round of Zones.

With a Friday eve ring around to fill a spot in the team, Captain Bremner led the lads out in a competitive match against our long time neighbours. The Father / Son duo of Aron and Liam Bremner clinched important victories both winning their singles 2&1, with Greg McIver halving his singles match leaving the game in the balance. It was Glenn Jongen with a solid 15 footer on the 18th to land them the upper hand winning their 4 Ball 2up and coming away with a 3.5 - 2.5 victory 

This advances the MGC Zones team to a Semi Final against friendly rivals Feilding Golf Club this coming Sunday at Hawkestone Golf Club and the team of Aron, Liam, Ryan and Colin would appreciate your support!
